Crystal Gardens

In 2015 me and another artist decided to create an art installation for 2016 Burning Man. The concept behind the art installation was to create something that could bring a sense of piece and stillness into the center of Burning Man. It can be hard to create a sense of calm in the center of 70,000 people. As someone that has always been inspired by Geometry and light I used those as concepts as the core of the design. We decided to build three crystal structures that were illuminated from their core with just over 750 LEDS inside of each. The crystals were constructed over a year timespan and all self funded. After displaying them at Burning Man we were contracted to bring them to 6 Music festivals durning the summer of 2017. Along with the music festivals we also displayed them at several large Technology conferences in San Francisco.
