While at The Mill, we created three spots for the release of the Gibson G-200 guitar. These were all filmed as a one-take with a robo-cam. We then took the robo-cam data and built CG worlds around the artist that represented the music they performed. I helped build out the world and did some visual effect exploration for the Nicky Lane performance. After helping get that spot off the ground I then created the world for Scarypoolparty, which was requested to be dark and ominous to match his guitar playing. By using a verity of assets and creating a custom lighting rig based off of a Houdini sim asset we were able to create a very fitting piece for the talented musician.
